TERMS OF SERVICE

Effective date: 6 March 2026

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of EDGE.

These terms are between you and EDGE Football AI Ltd ("EDGE", "we", "us" or "our"), a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales with company number 16915252 and registered office at 62-64 Market Street, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, LE65 1AN, United Kingdom.

By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription, uploading content or otherwise using EDGE, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use EDGE

You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract to use EDGE.

If a player is under 16, the account must be created, accepted and controlled by a parent or legal guardian. EDGE does not permit independent minor-controlled accounts.

If you are using EDGE on behalf of a club, academy, school, team or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. What EDGE provides

EDGE is a football development platform that helps users log matches, upload relevant inputs, generate AI-supported reports, run structured reviews, and maintain a player development plan over time.

EDGE is designed as a performance analytics and development tool. It is not a medical service, healthcare service, diagnostic tool, betting product, or public player directory.

3. Important product limits and safety rules

You must not submit injury details, medical records, diagnoses, medication details, mental health diagnoses or other special category personal data into EDGE. EDGE may block, redact, refuse to process, or delete such content.

EDGE does not provide medical, rehabilitation, mental health or safeguarding advice. Where needed, you should seek support from an appropriate qualified professional or your club or organisation safeguarding lead.

EDGE is intended to support player development discussions and planning. Outputs may be incomplete, approximate or imperfect, particularly where underlying data is limited.

4. Accounts and account security

You must provide accurate account and profile information and keep it reasonably up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account unless caused by our breach.

We may require email verification, guardian confirmation or other checks before activating or continuing an account.

We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably suspect unauthorised use, inaccurate age status, consent issues or misuse of the service.

5. Trials, subscriptions and billing

EDGE may offer a free trial. A payment method may be required to start the trial.

Unless cancelled before the end of the trial or before the next renewal date, your subscription will automatically renew on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan selected.

You authorise the relevant payment provider to charge subscription fees, applicable taxes and any other clearly disclosed charges.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the relevant billing or account settings. Cancellation will stop future renewals but will not usually refund amounts already paid for a current billing period unless required by law.

We may change pricing or plans from time to time. Any changes will apply on a prospective basis.

6. User content and uploads

You may upload data, text, files, footage, images and other materials to EDGE.

You retain ownership of your content, but you grant EDGE the rights needed to host, process, analyse, display and use that content for the purpose of operating, securing, improving and providing the service, including generating outputs requested by you or your organisation.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights, permissions and lawful basis to upload any content you submit.

If you upload match footage, images or similar content containing children or other individuals, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate permission, consent or other lawful basis to upload and share that content.

You must not upload content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringing, abusive, discriminatory or harmful.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use EDGE for any unlawful purpose
  • upload special category personal data that EDGE does not permit
  • misuse the platform, interfere with security or attempt unauthorised access
  • copy, scrape, reverse engineer or exploit the service except where permitted by law
  • use EDGE to build a competing service or model without our written permission
  • submit content that infringes another person's rights or breaches confidentiality, safeguarding or data protection obligations

8. AI-generated outputs

EDGE may use artificial intelligence, automation and rules-based systems to generate reports, plans, recommendations and other outputs.

These outputs are provided to support football development and decision-making, but they are not guaranteed to be error-free, complete or suitable for every circumstance.

You remain responsible for how you interpret and use outputs from EDGE.

9. Controller and processor roles

For direct consumer accounts, subscriptions, billing, support and general website or app operation, EDGE generally acts as a data controller.

Where a club, academy, school or other organisation determines the purposes and means of processing player data and uses EDGE as a service provider, that organisation is typically the controller and EDGE acts as processor for that dataset.

Separate contractual terms or a data processing addendum may apply for organisation customers.

10. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in EDGE, including the platform, software, design, branding, reports structure, workflows and underlying materials, belong to EDGE or its licensors.

You may use the service only as permitted by these Terms. No rights are granted to you except as expressly set out here.

11. Availability and changes

We may update, improve, modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the service from time to time.

We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using EDGE at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access where you breach these Terms, create risk for other users, create legal or safeguarding concerns, or misuse the service.

Where appropriate, we may remove content, restrict features or close accounts.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EDGE is not liable for:

  • indirect or consequential loss
  • loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity or anticipated savings
  • loss or corruption of data, except to the extent caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EDGE's total liability arising out of or in connection with the service shall be limited to the greater of:

  • the total amount paid by you to EDGE in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim
  • GBP 100

This liability cap does not apply to liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you are a business user, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, you may also have rights to bring claims in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
